The MA in Childhood Studies (ICHAS) is for practitioners who wish to develop advanced knowledge in supporting childhood development and Early Learning Care. The programme uses blended learning and includes 150 hours of work placement in educational and childcare settings.

Academic requirement
Level 2:2 award in relevant Level 8 Honours Degree in Early Learning and Care, Primary and Post Primary Education, Nursing, Social Care, Psychology, Sociology, Social Science, Youth Work and Community Studies or related disciplines. ICHAS programme. Full-time classes at ICHAS, Walton House, Limerick. Part-time classes at Griffith College Dublin. 150 hours work placement required.

Griffith College Bursary (GCB): €2,000 awarded to all offers + Academic Merit Scholarship (AMS): CGPA 2.7+ = €1,000 / CGPA 3.0+ = €1,500 / CGPA 3.5+ = €2,000
